Attached Barn, Vintage
A barn directly attached to the house that does not have interior finishes or living area. The framing system consists of heavy timber post and beam construction with mortise and tenon connections, usually 1940 and earlier construction.
Included in Cost: A-Frames connected with connecting heavy beams and timbers, support posts on footings, concrete slab on grade, stud walls with clapboard barn plank siding, roof framing with purlins between A-frames with sheathing, asphalt shingle roof cover, entry door, overhead sectional door with opener, electric outlets, switches, and fluorescent light fixtures.
