System, Radiant Roof Melt

A system designed to melt or remove ice and snow from the eaves of a structure in an effort to prevent damage to the structure from ice damming and freeze damage during winter months.

Note: The system is normally installed at the eaves of a structure's roofline to prevent ice damming and damage. The ice melt cabling or heat mats are installed 2 to 3 feet from the gutter area up the roof along the perimeter of the roof.

Included in Cost: Radiant electric snow and ice melt system for a roof, electric cabling installed over a roof cover material or heat mats installed under a roof cover, controller, connection to power supply, fasteners and installation labor.
