Sump Pump System

A pump used to remove excess water that has accumulated in a sump or collection basin. Sump pump systems are commonly found and used in homes with basements. Water can enter the system through a perimeter drain that funnels into the basin due to rain or the natural ground water, if the basement below or close to the water table level.

The sump pumps are used where basement flooding happens regularly, and to solve dampness where the water table is above the foundation of the home. A sump pump will send the water away from the house.
