A closed-circuit television and camera and video monitoring system used to maintain close observation of a person, group of people or property boundaries to monitor activity on a property, which can include a system to record activity over time to be viewed at a later time or date.
Included in Cost: Web enabled surveillance system including eight weatherproof infrared cameras, LCD display module for CAT 5 wiring, 3.5" flush mounted LCD color monitor, two 15" flush mounted touch screen LCD color monitor with transmitters and built-in 500 GB DVD recorder, video and power cables, wiring, electrical boxes, cover plates, wall mounted CAT 5 data cable jacks, data connectors, and installation labor. Web enabled system enables mobile devices, such as a phone or PDA, to access and control devices in the system remotely.
Note: Category 5 (CAT 5) wiring is not included in the camera surveillance system costs. This can be added to the estimate using the "Wiring, Category 5" material selection under "Whole House Systems", "Electrical" material selection.
