An insulated heat storage unit that heats a storage element when power rates are lowest and then releases the stored heat when it is called upon from thermostat. Special elements such as ceramic bricks are heated and store the heat until it is needed. When a thermostat calls for heat, a low speed fan is activated. It draws room air through the unit and the air is heated when it is circulated around the hot bricks.
