A ΒΌ round strip of wood used at the bottom of a baseboard to cover the space between the finished flooring and the baseboard.
If you have 2,000 sq. ft. of living area, and the entire house (all rooms) has shoe base molding, you have 100% shoe base molding.
If you have 2,000 sq. ft. of living area, and 400 sq.ft. has shoe base molding, you have 20% shoe base molding.
