Tile, Ceramic

A thin, flat piece of fired clay or glazed porcelain tile that is applied over wood joists and sheathing, or a concrete slab with cement or other adhesive and grouted joints. Normally used for its durability, easiness to clean, and relatively waterproof finish. Ceramic tile comes in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and finishes. Ceramic tile flooring with custom color has been used. Assumes custom patterns and finishes typical of high value homes as well as an intricate floor plan typical of high value homes.
