Custom or high quality light fixtures with the fixture's bottom edge flush with the finished ceiling surface. The percentage of recessed lighting is based on the percentage of total living area illuminated by the recessed lighting. Each recessed light will illuminate approximately 25 square feet of area.
Example: If the recessed lighting in a home lights 150 square feet of living area and the home is 2500 square feet of total living area, the home has 6% recessed lighting (150 / 2500 = 0.06 or 6%).
Included in Cost: Light fixtures, wiring, switch, plate cover, fasteners, and installation labor.
