Interior ceiling consisting of drywall (also called plasterboard, sheetrock, gypsum board, or wallboard) that comes in sheets typically 4’ x 8' or larger. It is a hard, chalk-like material covered with paper on both sides that is applied over ceiling joists. It forms a smooth surface that can be painted or finished in many ways. Assumes intricate ceiling configurations typical of high value homes such as skylights, cathedral, coffered, and domed ceilings.
Included in Cost: Drywall, tape, mud compound, primer coat plus two finish coats of paint, and installation labor.
