Quartz tiles applied to the wall surface with glue, mastic, mud set, thin set or other adhesive material with grouted joints. Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in the earth’s crust. There are many different varieties of quartz. Pure quartz is called rock crystal or clear quartz and is colorless and transparent or translucent. Common color varieties include citrine, rose quartz, amethyst, smoky quartz, milky quartz and others. Quartz wall tiles are manufactured with 90% or more of quartz and no more than 10% color pigments and resins, which make it very durable and less susceptible to cracking.
