Stone, Solid

Stone such as granite, fieldstone, or limestone that is either found or quarried, then is mortared together to provide the external structural support. Can include custom cutting of stone such as Ashlar-cut. Assumes exterior wall design attributes such as numerous corners, window and door shapes and openings typical of high value homes.

Included in Cost: Solid stone, mortar, wall ties, reinforcing, and installation labor.

Enter a percentage between 0 and 100.

Application note: If any of the solid masonry interior walls are exposed with no drywall installed over them, adjust the drywall on walls percentage accordingly.

For example: If a home has 75% stud 2 x 4 and 25% solid brick interior wall framing, and 10% of the solid brick is exposed with no drywall, you should adjust the drywall percentage to 90% drywall. If all of the framing was covered with drywall, you don't have to do anything since RCT includes 100% drywall from the knowledge tables.
