Plaster, Horsehair

Interior partition walls consisting of wood lath and horsehair plaster applied over partition framing with a decorative texture applied to the surface. Horsehair plaster is typically found in homes built before 1930, seldom in more recently built ones. It is actually regular plaster with a fiber added to it for additional strength. Assumes unique design attributes of wall partitions such as numerous angles, corners, openings, arches, and other intricate design configurations.

Included in Cost: Wood lath, horsehair plaster, fasteners, and installation labor. Horsehair plaster is ready for finish, but does not include any finish.
