Access Ramp, Wood, ADA Compliant

A sloped inclined ramp or surface typically built to improve accessibility to a structure for people who can’t use stairs. Typically used by a person who uses a wheelchair, scooter, walker, cane or crutches who can’t use stairs, or needs a less stressful way to enter a structure such as a home. The access ramp is built to the Americans with Disabilities Act compliance standards for ramps.

Note: An ADA compliant access ramp has a minimum width of 36” clear space across the wheelchair ramp. Massachusetts and California ADA code require 48” ramp width.

Included in Cost: Treated lumber national ADA compliant access ramp, any footings, pressure treated framing, wood decking, landings, hand rails, non-slip or skid materials installed at intervals, side flanges, threshold tie-in, hardware, fasteners, and installation labor.

Enter the linear feet, between 0 and 500, of ADA compliant wood access ramp attached to the exterior of the home.

Measure the length of the ramp to determine the linear footage of ramp.
