Bar Joists with Wood Sheathing

A roof structure made of a manufactured open web joist (a top and bottom chord with metal cross bracing), then covered with wood sheathing. Wood sheathing is the lumber used as the first layer of covering over joists, usually boards, plywood, or oriented strand board (OSB).

Open web joists are also known as trusses, truss joists and I-joists.
