A framing system in which the framing consists of structural steel columns, beams, and studs.
Superstructure framing is typically found in larger high value homes (not smaller homes, such as those under 6,500 SF) and is used for heavy duty loads, older homes, and larger spans. It is possible for a smaller home to have additional superstructure framing, so thorough inspection should be done to accurately account for all framing.
Included in Cost: Steel framing and installation labor.
